THERE IS NO SPOON
Inspired by the ambiguity of simulation theory, There is No Spoon reinterprets simulation not as cybernetic awakening, but as spatial entrapment. Set within liminal, computer-generated environments — pure artificiality, stripped of anything organic — the work explores digital estrangement, recursive architecture, and the tension between recognition and displacement. Devoid of clear purpose or escape, its constructed world becomes a space where reality does not shatter, but loops and disorients. Suspended between dream and nightmare, in the absence of full understanding, only forward movement remains.
The walkthrough is recorded live, with an evolving soundscape performed in real time by a sound artist Craig Wells using synthesizers.
